DECEMBER 2011 - TERRA AND AQUA EDITION 1 DATA RELEASED: This marks our first release of Terra and Aqua cloud object data using cloud object Edition 1 algorithm. The following datasets are available

  1. Terra Deep Convective Cloud Object (2 years)
  2. Terra Boundary-layer Cloud Object (2 years)
  3. Aqua Deep Convective Cloud Object (2 years)
  4. Aqua Boundary-layer Cloud Object (2 years)

APRIL 2011 - TRMM EDITION 1 DATA RELEASED: This is our latest release of the TRMM cloud object data to improve data quality issue using the new cloud object Edition 1 algorithm. Edition 1 algorithm consists mostly of minor bug fixes to the original Edition 0 algorithm.

SEPTEMBER 2008 - UPDATED DATA RELEASE SCHEDULE

JULY 2006 - UPDATED REFRENCES: Updates to the cloud object reference listing

JANUARY 2005 - CLOUD OBJECTS WEBSITE DEBUT: As part of an on-going effort to distribute Earth Science Information to the broader scientific community, a web-based cloud object data retrieval system has been developed to allow Earth science users to pick and choose the individual cloud object data and download them directly from the Internet.

A poster presentation of the cloud object website was given at the 85th Annual American Meteorological Society Conference in San Diego, California on Tuesday, January 11th, 2005. Click here for more information.
